VDMA: Euromap 66 überarbeitet

Wie der Fachverband Kunststoff- und Gummimaschinen im VDMA, Frankfurt, berichtet, hat die Technische Kommission des Euromap Die Reihe der Euromap 66-Empfehlungen überarbeitet. Im Einzelnen handelt es sich um Euromap 66–1  Protocol for Communication with Peripheral Equipment, Euromap 66–1A  Protocol for Communication with Peripheral Equipment und Euromap 66–2  Protocol for Communication with Peripheral Equipment. Die Dokumente stehen zum kostenlosen Download unter www.euromap.org bereit. Euromap 66 soll ab sofort bevorzugt für neue Anwendungen verwendet werden und im Laufe der Zeit Euromap 17:1992 „Protocol for communication between plastic processing machinery or central computer and peripheral equipment“ ersetzen.
