The 12th edition of AMI’s Wood-Plastic Composites Conference will take place at the Imperial Riding School Renaissance Hotel, Vienna, Austria from 14-15th November 2018.
The event will draw on experience across the world to bring focus on the latest developments in the industry. The conference is now well-established as the leading European and international event.
AMI is pleased to yet again gather together a panel of expert international speakers from Europe and United States, which will cover key issues for the industry. The President of the North American Deck & Railing Association will open the conference, followed by major producers, Deceuninck NV.
The market trends session is packed with key industry experts all ready to discuss and explore the current state of the global WPC industry with presentations from; Fiberon, Fraunhofer-Institute for Wood Research, Kompetenzzentrum and J. Rettenmaier & Söhne. The following sessions will cover the technological processes within the WPC industry and include presentations from; Battenfeld-Cincinnati and President of WyoComp.
The second day of presentations will include a session on decoration & appearance with papers from Wöhler Brush Tech GmbH and Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University/Compolytics. The conference will close with the latest on material developments including perspectives from; Elix Polymers, Stora Enso, Lonza, HMS Concept, ISCC System and Fibres Recherche Développement.
Other speakers include; CCWOOD BV, Re-Organic AS and TCKT – Transfercenter Für Kunststofftechnik who will present key perspective on multiple aspects of the WPC industry.
This major international event is expected to attract participants from more than 30 countries and will be accompanied by an extensive table top exhibition enabling delegates to find out about all the latest technical developments for wood plastic composites.
